Measured Building Surveys

Measured Building Surveys should not be confused with Building Surveys undertaken by Building Surveyors.          

Building Surveyors diagnose and test building performance, they understand architectural styles and building methods, obtains planning consents, organises construction work and manages people and processes.

A Measured Building Survey is the accurate measurement & production of plans, sections, elevations and visualisations of a building. These surveys are more accurate than those produced by other surveying disciplines & are an essential prerequesite for architects and developers undertaking substantial refurbishment / redevelopment of large projects.

How the system work

Our surveyors walk through the building with hand held surveying equipment which produces a digital CAD plan of the building. Capturing the measurements once halves the time of job turn around by eliminating the need for any office based drawing cleanup.

Our system is very flexible and can be setup to match any clients drawing specifications and layering system. Or we can provide you with a suitable layering system to be used in the future.

We provide the final drawing in an Autocad format or prints up to A0 size, ready for design work to begin.

We also offer a next day drawing service if there is extra urgency required.

There is an ever growing requirement in today’s fast paced society by clients and customers to have quick, accurate building plans, floor plans, ‘as built’ plans and drawings of buildings with which to plan their future building proposals, schemes and to comply with current legislation like the recent Government Directives where Local Authorities, schools, colleges and the like are required to take a much more proactive approach to the whole area of Property Management.
